Mnemonics of physics for Fsc, MDCAT preparation

If you are looking for the physics neet mnemonics then you are on the right page because here we have shared the Mnemonics of physics for Fsc, MDCAT preparation.

OPTICS

1) Colour Code for Resistances

B        B           R     O            Y

Black Brown     Red   Orange    Yellow

0      1               2    3             4

of Great  Britain had Very   Good     Wife

Green      Blue         Violet   Grey    White

    5           6            7           8           9

………………………………………………

2) Fleming's Left Hand Rule is for Motors

Fleming's Right Hand Rule is for Generators

(Induction)

To remember read Generator as Genrighter

3)  Order of rainbow colors

@ Richard of York gave battle in vain"

Explanation:-

(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet).

Note:-

Additionally, the fictitious name Roy G. Biv can be

used as well.

(red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet).

…………………………………………………………………………………………

4) Electromagnetic spectrum

In the order of increasing frequency or decreasing

wavelength of electromagnetic waves;

Radio waves, Microwaves, Infrared, Visible light, Ultraviolet,

X-Rays, Gamma Rays

@ Roman Men Invented Very Unusual X-Ray Guns

@ Rich Men In Vegas Use Expensive Gadgets.

 In the order of increasing wavelength;

@ Good Xylophones Use Very Interesting Musical

Rhythms.

@ Godzilla-X Using Violence In Meeting Room.

   where,

      Ga:  Gamma Rays

       X :  X-Rays

       U:   Ultraviolet

       V:   Visible light [ VIBGYOR ]

       I:   Infrared

       M:   Microwaves

       S:    Short Radio waves

       F:    FM and TV Radio waves

       A:    AM Radio waves

       L:    Long Radio waves

………………………………………………………………………

5) Microwave frequency bands

@ "King Xerxes Can Seduce Lovely princesses"

Explanation:-

K band

X band

C band

S band

L band

Mnemonic for microwave frequency bands in the

increasing wavelengths (decreasing frequencies),

which are K band, X band, C band ,S band, L band,

respectively  s given by,

@King Xerxes Can Seduce Lovely princesses"

………………………………………………………………………

6) Plane Glass

( @ Red List = Red least )

Explanation:-

If a plane glass slab is placed on letters of different

colours

RED letters are raised  LEAST and violet colour are

raised most.

……………………………………………………………………………………

7) Complementary Colours

 [ @ GRB are primary colour so are placed in corner ]

   @ BoY RoC GM

Explanation:-

If 2 colour after mixing gives white then these two

colours are called complementary colours.

R + G + B = White ( W )

R + G = yellow ( Y )

G + B = C ( Peacock blue )

R = B = M

B + Y = White ( W )

G + M = White ( W )

Put the colour coming in same word just opposite and perpendicular then we get the  triangle which give all result of  mixing.

8) Nature of images formed

Nature of images formed

i)   Compound microscope

a.   Intermediate image

  Real, Inverted, Magnified [ @CRIMe In ]

b.   Final Image

  Virtual, Inverted, Magnified [ @ VIM-Floor ]

ii)   Astronomical telescope/simple telescope

a.   Intermediate image

    Real, Inverted and Point size [ @RIP In ]

b.   Final image

    Virtual, Inverted, Magnified [ @Final VIM]

iii)   Terrestrial Telescope ( 3 lenses )

a. Intermediate image:

   Real, Inverted, Diminished [ @ In TeRID ]

b.   Final Image

   Virtual, Erect and Magnified [ @ ViErMa Final ]

iv  . Galilean Telescope

a.   Intermediate image:

   Real Inverted Diminished    [ @ RID Inter Galli]

b. Final Image

9) Similarity of Eye and Camera

Similarity of Eye and Camera

@ RIPE Fruits Directly Affect System

Explanation:-

i.e R: Retina          F: Film

     I: Iris              D: Diaphargm

     P: Pupil           A: Aperture

     E: Eyelid          S: Shutter

1=> When a wire is stretched n times them new resistance of wire

R`=n²R

2.=>When radius of a wire is decrease n times then new resistance of wire

R`=n⁴R

3.=>when a wire is bent into circle then new resistance of wire is given by

R`=R/4

4.=>when three wire are combined to form an equitaral triangle then new resistance

R`=2/3 ×R

5.when a wire is stretched I length increases x% then percentage increase increase in R=2x%(small change up to 10%)

6.=>possible combination of conductor of equal resistance is given by

2power n-1

7.=> If resistance of n conductor different then possible combinations are

2 power n

8.if identical resiatances are first connected in series and then in parallel the ration of equivalent resistances is give by

Rp/Rs=n²/1

=>Rp=n²Rs

9.power. In series

1/peq=1/p1+1/p2,,,,,,,,,1/on

Power in parallel

Peq=P1+P2

10.Ration of equivalent power of series and parallel

Pp=n²Ps

11. In series

P=I²R

Brightness

B~R

B~V

B~1/power ratted

Fuse ~V

Fuse~1/power ratted

12.In parallel

P=V²/R

B~wattage

B~current

B~P ratted

B~1/Resistance

Fuse~cureent

Fuse~watt

13.For n identical resistance in series

R`=nR

In parallel

R`=R/n

14.For n identical power in series

P`=P/n

In parallel

P`=NP
