How To Make Vegetable Curry Recipe In Urdu / English


¤ Ingredients ¤


Carrots 200 gm
Potatoes 300 gm
Oil 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1- ½ tsp
Cardamom seeds 5 
Mustard seeds 1- ½ tsp
Onion, grated 2
Turmeric 1 tsp
Coriander 1 tsp
Chilli powder 1- ½ tsp
Bay Leaf 1 
Ginger 1 tbsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Tomatoes 250 gm
Vegetable stock 200 ml
Pea 115 gm
Spinach 115 gm


¤ Method ¤


Cut the carrots into chunks and the potatoes into quarters. Place in a steamer and steam until just tender.
Heat the oil in large pan over medium heat and fry cumin, cardamom and mustard seeds, until they start to sizzle. Add the onion partially cover, and cook over medium-low heat, stirring frequently, until soft and golden.
Add the other spices, bay leaf, ginger and garlic and cook, stirring for 1 minute. Add the tomatoes, stock , carrots and potatoes, partially cover, and cook for 10-15 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender. Add the pea and spinach, then cook for 2-3 minutes.
